The wiley Jackals dealt the Titans a crushing overtime 16-13 defeat in game #1 of the SCSL Playoffs. The Jax clawed their way to victory despite managing no first downs and only 27 yards of offense in the first half of football. The Titans lead the game 10-3 at halftime. With two minutes remaining to play, the Jax get a TD and take the lead 13-10. Titans QB Matt Schaud connects for 27 yards on a remarkable 4th and 6 play to get into field goal range. Kicker David Akers nails a FG at :15 seconds to send the game to OT.

Jax win the coin toss but after three plays are forced to punt to Titans PR Clifton Smith who returned it to the Jax 48 yard line. The Titans advance the ball to the Jax 28 yard line and brought in the field goal unit. Akers missed the FG attempt wide to the left. Later in OT, the Jax key on Titans RB Brian Westbrook, forcing a fumble at their own 28 yard line which the Jax recovers. The Jackals brought in the FG team on first down and kicked the winning field goal.

The relentless stampeed of the Pachyderm offense flattened the Wizards 31-7 in game #2 of the SCSL playoffs. The Wizards won the coin toss, and elected to defer. It was a good ploy, as the defense stopped the herd on their first possesion, but the strategy turned out to be ineffective against the relentless Pach offensive machine. The 'Derms went into halftime with a 21-0 lead. After a heated locker room discussion with offensive coordinaters, Wizards QB Philip Rivers finally took charge and lead an opening third quarter 76 yard drive to the endzone, making the score 21-7. But that was all the Wizards could muster, as Pach QB Sean Hill routinely connected on crucial passes, and running backs Peyton Hillis and Chris Johnson thundered through the Wizards defensive line. Wizards star TE Heath Miller was taken out of the game in the first quarter with an undisclosed injury and did not return until the second half.
