HARRIERS 30 PITBULLS 24

SAFETY HARBOR -- At halftime, the heavely favored Harriers trailed the visiting Pitbulls 17-3. In the 2nd half, the Harriers flew back, outscoring the Dogs 27 to 7 and win it 30-24.

One of Pitbulls QB Rothlesbergers 3 INT's was returned 42 yards by Harriers FS Rahim Moore for a TD. With time running out in the 4th quarter and down by 6, the Pitbulls ran 5 plays from the Harrier 14 yard line and failed to score.





BARRACUDAS 38 EASYRIDERS 34

DUNEDIN -- The 'Cudas raced to a 17-3 early lead in the 2nd quarter before the Easriders reeled off 24 unaswered points - courtesy of two Tom Brady Ints, and two 'Cuda fumbles. The Fish defense finally showed up in the 3rd quarter and limited the 'Riders to 7 points the rest of the way.

With 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter and the Easyiders leading 34-31, a 'Riders punt came to rest at the Barracudas 6 yard line. With hopes of getting into field goal range, the Fish commenced their final drive. The 'Cudas marched steadily downfield to the Easyriders 22 yard and called time out. Observers were expecting to see the field goal unit hit the field, and attempt the game tieing kick, but the 'Cudas head coach called another play. It was a run off tackle by RB Lamar Miller. Miller scampered 22 yards to the endzone for the game winning touchdown. The contest ended with 'Riders QB Carson Palmer throwing 4 incomplete hail mary passes.
