BELLEAIR -- The Pachyderms won the toss and elected to defer. QB Philip Rivers then lead the Wizards offense on a sightseeing tour to the Pachyderm endzone that consumed almost half of the 1st quarter. Shortly thereafter, Wizards OLB Manny Lawson intercepted an E.J Manual pass in the flat and scampered 61 yards down the eastern sideline for a pick-6 making the score 14-0.

Later in the 2nd quarter, Pach MLB Paul Posluszny intercepted Rivers and returned it 32 yards for their first score.

The Wizards defense forced 5 turnovers. Three Int's and twice jumping on fumbles while sacking the QB. Wizards kicker Caleb Sturgis contributed 4 FG's, and the Wiz went on to win it 33-20.

PALM HARBOR -- The late blooming Harriers continued their fairytale romp to the Super Bowl by besting the heavily favored Palominos 38-34 in their Playoff game.

Earlier in the season the Harriers looked like toast, entering Week 13 with a lowly 4-8 record. But QB Drew Brees lead the squad to four straight wins, the last of which was over a stunned pack of Jackals. Both teams finished the regular season at 8-8, but the 'Birds had beaten the Jax twice and thus won the North Division.

The Palominos totaled 526 yards of offense compared to the Harriers' 348 yds. The difference was the Harriers intercepting four passes, including two returned for back-breaking touchdowns by ILB Michael Kendricks.
